ETHICAL FASHION DOCUMENTARY FILM

Aimed for release in 2012, this documentary is an international exploration of how the practice of fashion, on every level – from the most public to the most personal – speaks to how we see ourselves, how we want to be seen, and what we most desire. The film empowers the audience; making vital connections between what we wear and how that clothing is made. Revealing how each purchase we make can affect the lives of others, it becomes a call to action – portraying the hidden costs of bargain goods and investigating a global supply chain that can lead from exploitation to elegance. Yet it also shows how fresh choices and expanded awareness can result in permanent and substantial impact. The world can change – one fashion decision at a time.
